Design & Discover (STEAM)

2nd - 5th Grade

Dive into the vibrant intersection of art and technology in our Design & Discover class! Designed for young creators eager to explore the fusion of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, this hands-on experience will spark your imagination and ignite your creativity. In this dynamic class, students will learn to code robots that bring their artistic visions to life. You'll program these bots to draw intricate designs and patterns, transforming digital concepts into tangible creations. Discover how to incorporate light into your artwork, using LEDs and other illuminating technologies to make your pieces shine in brilliant colors and captivating patterns.

This class meets once a week on Monday from 3:30pm until 4:30pm.

Sculpt & Print: Art in 3D and Beyond

4th - 8th Grade

Join us for an exciting sculpture and printmaking class where creativity knows no bounds! In this hands-on, process-driven experience, students will delve into various printing techniques, including gelli printing, block printing, and screen printing, while also exploring building, assemblage and creating in 3D. Discover the endless possibilities of using recycled materials and everyday objects to create unique prints and imaginative sculptures. Mixed Media Magic: The Ultimate Art Mash-Up
2nd - 6th Grade

Join us for an exciting mixed media class where you'll dive into the world of collage and discover the magic of combining diverse materials! In this hands-on, process-oriented experience, students will explore a variety of techniques and elements to craft their own unique masterpieces. You'll expereiment with a mix of painted papers, magazines, photos, fabric, and stickers. Play with layering, tearing, and arranging materials to design vibrant and unique pieces of art and allowing your imagination to flourish. This class emphasizes creativity and fun, making it perfect for all skill levels. Come ready to explore, create, and let your artistic spirit shine!

Draw, Paint, Create!

3rd - 6th Grade

Join us for a hands-on drawing and painting class where creativity flourishes! In this class, you'll learn new skills while enjoying the creative process and having ample time to experiment with a variety of materials. Students will explore an array of drawing tools, including charcoal, ink, graphite pencils, colored pencils, and pastels, while discovering different painting techniques using watercolors, acrylics, tempera, and gouache. Throughout the class, you'll develop essential drawing skills such as line drawing, shading, proportion, and perspective, all while embracing your unique artistic style. Artist Studies: Exploring Creative Journeys

PreK - 2nd Grade

Textile Fusion: Textile Art Exploration

3rd - 8th Grade

Join us as we dive into the enchanting world of textile arts in our vibrant, process-based course! Students will discover the magic of creativity as they explore a variety of projects, including embroidery, weaving, sewing, felting, and dyeing. Throughout the class, you’ll have the opportunity to personalize T-shirts, experiment with tie-dye techniques, and create unique textile sculptures. Additionally, you’ll learn to make decorative pieces using fabric beading and appliqué, among many other exciting projects. This hands-on class encourages experimentation and self-expression, allowing you to bring your imaginative ideas to life through the versatile medium of textiles.
